How to Book a Portrait Session

It is true that we do things a little differently here. The process is a bit more involved than just clicking the shutter button and then you walk out with your finished photographs. However, it is pretty simple once you understand how the process works.

Let us know you are ready to book a portrait session
The first thing you need to do is just let us know that you want to have an Elias Portrait. Just give us a call at (562) 696-6868 to get started. We will set up an appointment for a consultation when you pre-pay your sitting fee (sometimes these can be done at the same time).

Schedule your consultation
You don't have to worry about what your portrait will look like or what the plans will be. It doesn't matter if you have no idea what would be a good setting for your portrait. It is our job to get information from you and give you ideas. This is the main focus of an Elias Portrait… to make it one that reflects you or your family in the right setting, and at the right time. During the consultation, we determine what day and time to have your session and where it will take place.

Have your portrait session
The consultation is an important part of the process of creating a beautiful portrait. It is where we learn something about you so that we can create images that are truly unique. It is also an opportunity for you to learn about what we will be doing during your portrait session, so you know what to expect. You will be comfortable during your photo session when we take the time to plan it out.

Design your portrait order
About ten days after your portrait session, we will call you to review the images and help you determine how to use them. Whether it's an Elias Storybook, several framed prints, or you have no idea what you want to do with them, we are here to guide you in your decisions.
