December is Here!

As we rush to complete orders that need to be completed by Christmas, we pause a moment to consider some of the details that make this holiday special. Here is a nice touch that’s not too hard to do and involves very little cost…

Mail from the North Pole

Using the US Postal Service, you can have Santa write a letter to your child. Santa is “helped” by charitable organizations working with the USPS to answer letters. When writing to Santa, encourage them to write at their appropriate level and include their age. You might also wish for them to include things that they are grateful for, as well.

You can also have your regular holiday cards postmarked at the “North Pole” by preparing them for regular mailing and then placing them in a larger envelope or box and sending them to the Anchorage Alaska branch of the Post office. You can get more information at the USPS Web site, or have a glance at this North Pole Postmark document.

All the mail you want answered or postmarked must arrive by December 15th, so hurry!! As alway, if you go into your local post office they guide you through any steps necessary to get your mail from the North Pole.
